Earlier today, Krillbite announced on PlayStation’s blog that Among The Sleep is coming to the PS4. The team didn’t unveil a release date for Among The sleep , however, they did mention that it will be compatible with Sony’s Project Morpheus.
“Lately we’ve also slowly started to realize we’re getting close,” said CEO of Krillbite Ole Andreas Jordet. “We want as many people as possible to be able play Among the Sleep when it’s released in the not-so-distant future, so I guess it’s no better time to announce that Among the Sleep will also be coming to PS4! We’re also thrilled to be among the first to explore PlayStation’s new virtual reality technology Project Morpheus for Among the Sleep.”
Krillbite began development on Among The Sleep four years ago. The team also launched a successful Kickstarter campaign for it, receiving full funding on May 18, 2013. Krillbite doesn’t want their backers to feel left out, so it promises that that they’ll receive a “fair deal.”
Details are sparse for now, but I’m glad to see that Krillbite is near the end of the development. The idea of playing as an infant in a horror game is unique, and I think the game could be potentially terrifying.
