Bandai Namco Reveals “Big” Dark Souls News

Bandai Namco Reveals “Big” Dark Souls News

Yesterday Bandai Namco announced through it’s UK Twitter account that we were going to get some “big” Dark Souls news today. What Bandai Namco seemingly fails to understand is that Dark Souls has one of the most ravenously passionate fanbases in all of gamedom, and of course we all went wild with speculation. Some stated with certainty that we were getting an original Dark Souls remaster for PS4 and Xbox One. Some were speculating about a season pass announcement with DLC or expansions on the way for Dark Souls III. Quite a few of you, for some reason, seemed convinced that a Dark Souls board game was on the way.

Well it’s finally April 8, and what’s the big news? Clothes. It’s just clothes. This would have been a more appropriate announcement to make on April 1, but then again I’m not a marketing expert; just a disappointed fan. Well if you’re into that kind of thing (and you live in freaking Europe), you can go ahead and check out a full line of Dark Souls themed shirts, hoodies, caps, and posters. The posters are actually really cool, but they’re not as cool as a Dark Souls board game. Oh, well.
