A new patch for Diablo III , version 2.5.0 to be exact, is coming soon. In preparation, Blizzard has laid out all the details about it on its official blog. The new patch contains new features such as The Armory and Primal Ancients, as well as some tweaking of existing elements.
The Armory, what appears to be the marquee addition to Diablo III this time, is a feature that lets players store separate character builds and swap between them. Up to five loadouts can be stored, and items can be swapped in and out of storage or the character’s inventory when choosing a loadout. It’s important to note that Paragon points aren’t stored and must be redistributed as needed.
Primal Ancients comes into play in the endgame and is designed by Blizzard to give high-level players more of an incentive to keep playing Diablo III . This is a new tier of equipment is basically a modification to Ancient-level items to make them even more powerful. To put it simply, a Primal Ancient item is an Ancient item with perfect affixes. Min-maxers will be in love with this new step.
Alongside these new features are several UI and quality of life adjustments. Crafting items now have their own UI tab, and many tweaks have been made to Adventure Mode. For every Diablo III patch detail, check out the Blizzard blog update. Most of the updates are pretty good.
