Blizzard’s Cancelled Warcraft Adventures Appears Online

Blizzard’s Cancelled Warcraft Adventures Appears Online

Something unconventional has appeared on the internet. I know, you could use that phrase to describe quite a few things. In this case, we’re talking about Blizzard’s Warcraft -inspired adventure game, Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans . The cancelled point-and-click game has appeared online at the Scrolls of Lore forum.

Here’s how it goes. Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans stars Thrall. Thrall is an Orc raised by a human who ends up going on a quest to learn about Orc culture. He meets many other Orcs from different clans, bringing them together to act as their leader. It’s supposed to be a comedic adventure, inspired by LucasArts and Sierra games. Blizzard stopped working on it after two years of development.

For an 18 year old game that was never actually released, there are plenty of let’s plays on YouTube. If you’re wondering if Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans is worth picking up, watch some footage. Enjoy a bit of Blizzard’s history!
