Breath Of Fire IV Coming To PSN

Breath Of Fire IV Coming To PSN

None

When Capcom was in the RPG business, they had a franchise called Breath of Fire. It kept RPG gamers addicted to its awesome character designs, jazzy soundtrack, and larger-than-life stories, right up until the PS2 came around and Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter kind of screwed the pooch for all of us.

But that doesn’t mean that we can’t reflect fondly on our memories of the past. Recently Christian Svensson of Capcom revealed that Breath of Fire IV, which is largely considered the second best in the franchise, will be coming to the PSN as a PSOne classic title. It will launch on August 16th alongside a series of Breath of Fire PSN avatars.

There is no word on whether or not the game will launch in areas outside the US, nor do we have any word on what the pricing might be, but I for one am excited to experience the travels of Ryu all over again.

Capcom sure has a lot of characters named Ryu don’t they?
