Peter Molyneux’s new home, developer 22Cans, isn’t going to release its “social experiment” Curosity ( or whatever they’re going to call it now ) until sometime next month, but that hasn’t stopped the games industry luminary from already revealing the studio’s next project.
Titled Cooperation, Molyneux tells Polygon that the studio’s next experiment is “very, very different” from Curiosity, but that it’s still “social” in nature and will have a focus on competition.
“If you think of (Curiosity) being the biggest mystery posted to the digital world, Cooperation is the biggest cooperative effort the world has ever known,” Molyneux said, in the process proving that he definitely hasn’t lost his gift of hyperbole after all these years.
Other details on the forthcoming title, including a release time frame or specific platforms, were kept hush for now.
