Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon has just teased a brand new game in everyone’s favorite way: a countdown site… sort of. We have to admit, for a countdown, Boon is being pretty creative. He began his countdown on Twitter by posting “square root of 841” (the answer is 29 by the way. He then posted “Question: How many days in a (non-leap-year) February?” the answer of course being 28. Today, he posted a clip from The Simpsons featuring the number 27 th . As you can imagine, he is likely counting down to a new game reveal, as 27 days from now we are put squarely one week before E3.
Many new games have been rumored to be coming out of Netherrealm Studios. A new Injustice was mentioned during a DC Comics panel at Wondercon. Keifer Sutherland also mentioned that he did voices for a new Mortal Kombat game. What could the reveal be? We will know in 27 days.
