Starting today, everyone can start designing their very own NPC for Fable III. Fans will be able to alter everything about their NPCs including their “enthralling backstory, unique personality traits, clothing, accent, hairstyles, and the region they hail from” according to the press release. The “Fable III Villager Maker” creation tools are said to allow for over 2,000 possibilities as well as the ability to make the NPC an ally, a villain, and even a spouse.  However, while everyone can go to Fable III’s website and tinker with these creation tools, only those who pre-order the game from specific retailers will get the code necessary to bring their NPC into the upcoming game. No specific retailers were mention, although, you can probably expect most major retailers to be involved. Along with the ability to import your custom made NPC, this code will also have your NPC providing your playable character with 1,000 gold and an additional quest. |
