Guess what must have done really well for Bandai Namco? Disney Magical World . The name should sound familiar, since the 3DS game was localized for North America and released by Nintendo. It was essentially Animal Crossing with a Disney cast and a pinch of RPG elements thrown in for good measure. (Also, it was pretty darn good .) And now, it’s getting a sequel called Disney Magical World 2 .
Disney Magical World 2 was officially announced as E3 2015 ended, but you know how easy it is to miss that kind of news. The trailer was released today for the follow-up, ahead of a full July 6, 2015 event in Japan.
An initial trailer has been released, so you can see all your familiar friends in their spiffy new duds.
No word on a localization yet, but the first was pretty well received. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Bandai Namco, Nintendo, and Disney team up to get this out in English as well.
