As revealed via Twitter on Tuesday, August 12, Red Thread Games has announced that the upcoming title said to revive the cult-classic Dreamfall series, Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey , will be exclusive to Sony’s PlayStation 4, however the game will still be heading to PC.

Red Thread Games clarified that Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey would be coming to PC shortly after its announcement for the game’s PlayStation 4 exclusivity. The studio also reassured that the PC version of the game will also release first before it launches on the PlayStation 4.

As it currently stands, Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey has no specific release date, but Red Thread Games is aiming to release the game in November this year. The game is slated to launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Mac this year, with a Linux version to follow later.
