With day one patches, you don’t expect much but bug fixes. When it comes to Far Cry Primal , it did a little bit more than that. It absolutely offers stability, performance, weapon, AI, design, and other gameplay adjustment and fixes. However, it also added an Expert Mode.
Far Cry Primal’ s Expert Mode is an advanced difficulty level. When you play in Expert Mode, you have to work as hard as possible to survive. Takkar’s health is half of what it is in the standard mode and you deal less damage. You also will have more trouble attacking, since aim assist is reduced. Which isn’t good news in a game where bows and spears are needed to stay alive. You also won’t see untagged enemies on the map, they take longer to forget about Takkar once he’s out of sight, and they shoot faster.
Basically, Far Cry Primal’ s Expert Mode offers an incredible challenge. Once you download the 561MB Xbox One or 564MB PlayStation 4 patch, you’ll be able to prove if you’re really in your prime.
