If you have been waiting on the edge of your seat to see the Assassin’s fight the Templars on the big screen, scooch back a bit. Fox has, unfortunately, delayed the release of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie about two months from June 19 th , 2015 to August 7 th , 2015.
Much of the movie is still being planned. The only definite we know so far is that Michael Fassbender has been tapped to star, but we don’t even know what Assassin he is going to play. Judging by his face, however, I’m just going to guess Altair.
Assassin’s Creed will be joining two other delayed movies including Secret Service and The Fantastic Four reboot. Ubisoft themselves have five other movies in the works, including Far Cry , Rabbids , Watch_Dogs , Splinter Cell , and Ghost Recon , though we haven’t heard much info from any of these projects.
