Dubbed the God of War: Ascension Legacy Bundle , the latest PS3 bundle from Sony is slated to include the entire God of War series, from the HD rereleases through GoW: Ascension. Players will be able to play through Kratos’ entire saga, from beginning to end, whether following their release chronology or the story itself.
Additionally, the bundle includes a 30-day subscription to PlayStation Plus, and a red PS3 with a 500GB hard drive.
That said, the scope of the package may be a bit misleading. Retailing at $350, the bundle truly consists of three items: the system, God of War: Ascension, and God of War Saga. The games retail for $60 and $40, respectively. Meanwhile, the original 500GB super-slim PS3 will run you about $300. The Legacy Bundle’s price is, perhaps, about ten dollars more than it would be normally. That said, it’s still a deal, just not as good of one as gamers might have hoped.
And, hey, for a blood red console, what’s an extra ten dollars? The God of War: Ascension Legacy Bundle will be out on March 12.
