According to a rumor leaked in the latest Games Master magazine, 343 Studios is currently hard at work at remaking the original Halo: Combat Evolved. While there aren’t any details, the magazine speculates that the game could run on the recently released Halo: Reach engine and would likely predate a Halo sequel.  Apparently, adding fuel to the rumor, UK Xbox boss Stephen McGill seemed to applaud the idea of a remake, stating simply, “I think some people want to go back to older games and see them revisited and I think a lot of developers want to see that too.” |
