First, I’m not sorry for referencing the “It’s gonna be May” meme in the headline. Second, the May Xbox Games with Gold have been announced. There’s nothing amazing or earth shattering, but the four new games that will be free next month are all solid and enjoyable titles.
Xbox Games with Gold kicks off May with Grid for the Xbox 360 and Defense Grid 2 for the Xbox One. The former will be available May 1-15, while the second will be here all month for us to enjoy.
Then, on May 16, two more games swap in. One is Costume Quest 2 for the Xbox One, which will be around until June 15. Don’t worry – you don’t have to have played the first game to enjoy it. The Xbox 360 version of Peggle shows up from May 16-31 too.
Personally, I think Costume Quest 2 and Peggle are next month’s winners, but we’ll probably have fun with all four games!
