Here’s more excellent news from Major Nelson! Today we learned from the team behind Deus Ex: Human Revolution that the game is now backwards compatible on the Xbox One, but that it didn’t contain any of the Missing Link DLC or content from the Director’s Cut. Now it’s been revealed that everyone will get the chance to play through Adam Jensen’s flagship adventure, as Human Revolution is part of next month’s free lineup. January’s full Xbox Live Games With Gold lineup has been revealed, and it’s pretty sweet.
In addition to Deus Ex , there is one more Xbox 360 game being offered: DiRT Showdown. The arcade racer usually goes for $15, and is yours for being a Gold member. The sweetest deal next month? Killer Instinct. The original was my all-time favorite fighting game on the SNES; it’s the first game that really got me into combo-centric fighters. Gold members will get the Xbox One remake along with the first Ultra Edition add-on, which includes Jago, Sabrewulf, Thunder, Glacius, Sadira, Orchid, Spinal and Fulgore, 8 costumes, 16 premium accessory packs, and the classic game. As a PS4 owner, I’m extremely jealous. Zheros is also available for free, but no one cares.
