According to a report in Nikkei Business Publication, the Koei and Tecmo merger has finally been approved at a shareholders meeting. As such, the companies will begin doing business together on April 1, the beginning of their fiscal year. Just a couple weeks ago, it was rumored that the merger was not going to be approved and that the deal was all but quashed. Today’s news not only debunks such rumors, but it will make Koei Tecmo Holdings the eighth largest Japanese publisher. |
