We all knew it would happen. Controversy-courting game Hatred catapulted up to the top of the Steam best sellers list a short while after its release. It shot past longstanding sales champs Grand Theft Auto V , and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to enjoy its fifteen seconds of fame at number one.
And then it fell. Hatred has now fallen to slot 5 on the list, with Lego Worlds taking its place at the top. That a game based on freeform creativity quickly distracted everybody from a played-out bid at profiting off controversy gives us a nice measure of hope for humanity.
