In a press release yesterday, EA revealed a handful of retailer-exclusive in-game items for Mass Effect 3. Players who pre-order their copy via the Origin distribution service will also receive the AT-12 Raider Shotgun. “The AT-12 Raider Shotgun fires a large pellet spread, ensuring maximum coverage for close-range targets,” a representative said. “Designed for superior rapid fire, the AT-12 allows for optimal recovery time between shots.” However, if you plan on snagging your copy from GameStop, you’ll receive the N7 Valkyrie Assault Rifle and N7 Defender Armor. The Valkyrie is purportedly “Exceptionally well-crafted, accurate, and packing ample firepower.” The Defender Armor adds a bit of punch to your firepower and helps the players regulate their breathing rate and adrenaline levels.
