Minecraft 360 Players get Their Refunds

Minecraft 360 Players get Their Refunds

None

One of the most exciting features of the Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is the ability to play local split-screen with a few of your friends. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to take advantage of this functionality. Split-screen simply doesn’t work for those of us who haven’t yet joined the HD TV generation. SD CRT TVs simply won’t support it.

Unfortunately, nowhere on the product description page did Microsoft say that an HD TV is required for split-screen play, and this had made some SD gamers angry. Microsoft has since revised their product description page and pre-sale notification, but to make amends they are offering full refunds to anyone who has purchased the game prior to the update (obviously meant for gamers who have SD TVs and purchased the game not knowing about its HD requisite for split-screen.)
