More (Not) Cafe Specs Leaked

None

Yet another “official” Nintendo document has leaked today containing specs for the much-hyped “Project Café.” This new document sports a Nintendo logo and an official-looking font, but we’d advise everyone to take all these rumors and speculation as just that until next Wednesday when the Café will finally be unveiled. However, if you are interested to see what exactly was contained in the “leaked” document, read on.

According to the scanned spec sheet, the “final specifications” for Project Cafe are as follows: Custom IBM Power 6 CPU Chip (Quad Core 3.5Ghz), a custom AMD RV770 graphics processor, 512MB XDR2 DRAM (Main), 1024 GDDR5 VRAM (Video), 16MB eDRAM, a 250/320GB SATA hard drive with expandable storage via SD/SDHC card up to 64GB, and custom Blu-ray media. These specs would put the Nintendo console ahead of the Xbox 360 in terms of processing power and would give it the tiniest edge over the PS3. Are these specs real? Probably not. But hey, we can hope.
