Mortal Kombat Banned In Australia

Mortal Kombat Banned In Australia

None

Eager players in the land down under who want to play Mortal Kombat are going to have a tough time getting their hands on the reboot of the classic brawler, as the game has been refused certification in the region. And when a game can’t be rated, under Australian law, it cannot be sold. Bummer!

This is not the first time a game has been banned in the region, as Australia’s video game classification is notoriously tough on violent and/or objectionable content. Games like CrimeCraft, Left 4 Dead 2, and even Blitz: The League have all been banned in their original form in the Australian region. The only way now for Mortal Kombat to be released is if an edited version can be made for the region. So, say goodbye to spinebusters!
