It seems like gamers everywhere are already well-versed in what Sony is going to bring to the gaming table come next week at E3; PlayStation Move, Killzone 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, inFAMOUS 2, and Premium PSN have already been reported upon extensively. Today, you can add one more key franchise to the known fold: Motorstorm. If french game site, PS3Gen’s (via IGN) leaked images are for real, than Motorstorm 3 is currently in the works over at Evolution Studios. The news broke yesterday, and today the screens have been lifted from the site — this usually serves as circumstantial verification. From what IGN reported earlier, gamers can expect a new kind of Motorstorm. Apparently, the leaked images showed “the off-road racer taking to the streets of what appears to be a West Coast country in the throes of the apocalypse. The report continued by saying, “Buildings are ripped apart and concrete flies as a sportscar races through scenes that are reminiscent of Disney and Black Rock’s recent Split/Second.” Interesting — we’re surprised Sony plans on testing the crowded, urban racing waters. Keep this one filed under rumor until we get confirmation a week from tomorrow.  |
