New Firmware Released for PS4

New Firmware Released for PS4

The official PS4 firmware version 2.03 was released last night. Unfortunately, we aren’t quite sure what they do. The official patch notes were incredibly short, with only a sentence saying that the patch has improved system software stability during the use of some features.

You may remember that the PS4 2.0 update had been causing issues for some users including freezes and crashes. Some of these came about with the newly introduced Youtube app. However, 2.03 does appear to be a much more stable firmware version, and many users are reporting that these issues have cleared up.

We will bring you more detailed patch notes as they become available.
