A few months ago, the internet was buzzing about Will Smith’s rampant overspending on the set of Men in Black 3 . Apparently Columbia Pictures can afford his extravagance, because the movie seems to be right on schedule. In fact, the studio announced today that they would be partnering with Activision to develop an “action-packed, yet light-hearted” game, which will be released simultaneously with the film. 
Mark Caplan, V.P. of Licensing at Sony Pictures Entertainment, also stated, “With Activision bringing the Men In Black universe to life on next gen consoles for the first time, the Men In Black video game will be both familiar to fans, an exciting beginning for the uninitiated, and revolutionary for the franchise.” Activision plans to release the game for consoles and handhelds in conjunction with the theatrical release, which is on May 25, 2012. No date for the game has been specifically indicated, but it sounds like it will be very close to that May 25 date. By Josh Engen |
