It’s official; Activision have announced the name and release date for the seventh iteration of the Call of Duty franchise. Call of Duty: Black Ops, developed by Treyarch, will launch on November 9, 2010, and it will take fans behind enemy lines as an elite fighting force. No hard details concerning gameplay mechanics have been revealed, but we’re pretty sure co-op multiplayer will be a big part of the game considering its moniker. Activision will release the first trailer for the game tonight, so we should get a few more details soon.
