It’s been a while since we heard new details about Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney, the hot new crossover puzzle solving game that has every DS junky frothing at the mouth.
Well, there’s some good news mystery fans. Layton V Wright has finally been dated. It will be coming out on November 29 th in Japan, which means a slew of gameplay walkthroughs and fan translations will follow shortly thereafter on YouTube.
Unfortunately, we still haven’t heard anything about an American release for the game, which is a shame. Perhaps the game is too wrapped up in licensing issues to come to the states. Or perhaps they just want to see if it hits it big in Japan first. Either way, it takes a long time to localize either a Professor Layton or Phoenix Wright game due to the fact that they are mostly text and/or voice acting. So even if Layton V Wright does come to America, we shouldn’t expect it any time soon.
