Resistance 3 is Real

None

Despite the valiant attempt at misdirection from voice actor David Kaye stating “Don’t know about Nate,” referring to his character Nathan Hale from the Resistance series, Insomniac is now officially recognizing the existence of Resistance 3. This comes after months of rumors and even the spotting of a billboard sporting the game’s name.

No real details were given about the game, only a brief live action trailer that acknowledges its existence and gives a few clues. The trailer sees a group of battered humans riding aboard a train, viewing their destroyed surroundings as they go. A sign saying New York is seen at one point and the trailer ends with a shootout in what appears to be a subway tunnel, so the setting is likely going to be the Big Apple. While there was no official release date to be had, Insomniac has stated on their Twitter account that it will be “coming to PS3 in 2011.”
