It’s time for another Resolutiongate scandal. It turns out that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes looks better on the PS4 than it does on the Xbox One. This isn’t some crazy fanboy ranting on his own personal blog. This is coming straight from the creator, Hideo Kojima’s, mouth.
“Kojima notes that MGS V looks slightly better on the PS4 compared to the Xbox One, something we also noted before he mentioned it.” Says Game Informer (via Videogamer ). Konami could not comment on whether or not Ground Zeroes actually does run at a lower resolution on the Xbox One.
The Xbox One has come under fire recently for “resolutiongate” problems. Call of Duty: Ghosts was the first game that was revealed to run at a low resolution on the Xbox One hardware. Other games, like Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Battlefield 4 have been reported to run better on the PS4 as well.
