Over the last couple of days, several European websites have been reporting that Blizzard is gearing up to release Diablo III in mid-April. According to the rumor mill, Amazon’s Italian outlet has the title listed for an April 17th release, and local retailers are supposedly readying their shelves. Earlier this month, Blizzard’s Game Director Jay Wilson wouldn’t confirm or deny the rumor, but did indicate that an official announcement would be made shortly. The company is expected to unveil the date at week’s CeBIT expo in Germany.
