About a month ago, back when the rumor mill was cranking out false leads on Nintendo’s new console, reports came in saying an “unnamed Electronic Arts studio” said that they had brand new Xbox hardware in their office, and that a new Microsoft console would be coming rather soon. Then, quicker than you can say “hey I think that’s a lie,” EA came out to debunk this. 
Crytek isn’t an EA studio but it is part of the EA Partners label. Perhaps there was a mix-up in communication somewhere down the line, or perhaps this is just another crazy rumor. |
