StarCraft II features a lot of science fiction locations, including alien planets and bases built on asteroids. But one thing noticeably missing from the game is space battles. Well, not anymore. A player-built game mode called Star Battle allows players to fight in space. Of course, without ground troops the rules had to be altered quite a bit. For example, instead of sending workers out to farm minerals, you can gain money by destroying tiny ships that are constantly launched by your enemies.
