Yesterday, we reported that at an employee event in London, SCE Europe boss David Reeves announced that the PS3 would see a lower price point starting in March of 2009 among other crucial gaming announcements. Today, Sony denies any such plans for a lower price point. That means yesterday’s rumor is officially just that. Nevertheless, the other gaming announcements made, including Uncharted 2 and LittleBigPlanet to PSP were not denied.
