According to web-wide rumors, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s President David Reeves addressed an internal group of select Sony employees at a recent event in London and revealed some major news. First, the PS3 will be getting a price drop in March 2009 in order to be more competitive. Second, Uncharted 2 is in development. Nathan Drake will return as the story’s hero. Third, LittleBigPlanet and Motorstorm are coming to the PSP. None of these announcements have been confirmed by Sony. As such, consider them to be internet bluster. Whether it’s true or not, the PS3 price drop rumor should ensure that Sony sells almost zero PS3s this holiday.
