The time has come once more. Speedrunners from all around the world will be convening in a single space to play one week straight of video games as fast as possible. Yes, Summer Games Done Quick is about to start, and its kicking off this Sunday.
The event is taking place in St. Paul, Minnesota, and I’m sure that a lot of you can’t go to attend in person, but don’t worry. The marathon will be streamed on Twitch.TV all next week
To see all the awesome games being run, check out the schedule here. The second game in the marathon is an utter decimation of Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric , which I can’t wait to see glitched out and broken. You will also see more Tetris exhibitions this year, TAS displays, and a very long Chrono Trigger run at the end.
