Summer Games Done Quick, a week long 24 hour speed running gaming marathon, is off to a magnificent start. The guys at Speed Demos Archive and Speed Runs Live have managed to earn over fifty thousand dollars for doctors without borders in the first day of game playing. Last year they managed to earn a little under half that in the same period.
The previous AGDQ marathon raised over a million dollars for charity. SGDQ is hoping to once again beat that total this year, and they are well on their way.
