When Star Wars: The Old Republic first came out, fans applauded it as being the next greatest MMO with staying power to rival even World of Warcraft. Unfortunately, the subscription numbers coming out of EA say otherwise. Apparently, the game has lost 400,000 subscribers since earlier this year. In February EA posted a subscriber count of 1.7 million. Now it is posting a count of 1.3.
