So far it looks like the PS4 is slightly “winning” the console wars. However, all the reports of the PS4 outselling the Xbox One came in before the PS4 even hit the UK. So how many consoles do you think Sony sold in the first two days after the PS4’s UK launch? The answer is 250,000. That’s a lotta consoles.
According to MCV, this actually mkes the PS4 the UK’s fastest selling console ever. It also puts the PS4 over 100k units above the Xbox One, which sold 150k units in it’s first 48 hours. Then again both consoles have easily outsdole Nintendo’s Wii U.
MCV has estimated that £87m has been made just in the consoles first two days. That’s more than 142 million dollars American.
