The Vita Finally Gets A U.S. Release Date

None

Are you one of those gamers that just can’t wait to get their hands on the PlayStation Vita? Are you itching to play Uncharted on the small screen? Just can’t wait to challenge the world at Street Fighter X Tekken with your remote 3G connection?

You’re in luck. The release dates for the PS Vita worldwide have finally been revealed. The Vita will launch in North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Australasia on February 22nd 2012. In North America, the Vita will retail at $249 U.S. for the Wi-Fi-only model and $299 U.S. for the 3G model.

Now, if you remember, Sony previously said that the Vita would launch “by the end of 2011,” and they delivered on this promise for Japan. For the rest of us, we will just have to wait patiently. Just save up your holiday cash and blow it all as soon as the Vita launches.
