Have you pre-ordered your copy of Twisted Metal, yet? If not, now’s the time, as the upcoming PlayStation 3 entry in the series just got a little more attractive for first-run buyers. David Jaffe of EatSleepPlay has announced that first print copies of Twisted Metal will include a download voucher for Twisted Metal Black at no additional charge.



For those who never played it, Twisted Metal Black was a return to form for the car-combat franchise. It put the series back in the hands of those who’d initially built it after Twisted Metal 3 and 4 were produced by a stand-in studio (the infamous 989 Studios). It was a grittier, darkly humorous take on the series that reinvigorated the franchise and is more or less the reason that the upcoming PS3 entry is so highly anticipated.

Twisted Metal will be in stores this Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2012.
