Twisted Metal Details Divulged

None

We have some good news and bad news for Twisted Metal fans today. Even though David Jaffe, series creator, said he did not want the upcoming Twisted Metal to have an online pass requirement, the powers that be seem to have overridden his vote. In a recent interview with The Gamers Hub, Justin Trease, Twisted Metal’s Q and A Lead, confirmed that a PSN Pass will be required to play the game.

On the other hand, details on the upcoming Twisted Metal demo have also been unveiled. The demo will include both single-player and multiplayer components, and the developers themselves will be playing the demo’s online mode in order to challenge gamers who are thinking of picking up the game. The demo will include one level and two online modes: Nuke and Death Match. The game has also been confirmed to have Sixaxis support, and one of the unlockable upgrades in the game allows you to flick your controller to do a ram attack.

Finally, it has been confirmed that the game will have a day one patch on its February 14th release date. Jaffe himself says he doesn’t like day-one patches, but enough has changed during testing to warrant one.
