It’s always depressing when a game you’ve been looking forward to gets delayed. However, since misery loves company, it is slightly better when two games you want to play are both delayed. Wait, that’s not right.  Nevertheless, 1Up has confirmed that two titles meant for release this year will not be coming out until 2011. Both SOCOM 4 and Linger in Shadow, despite being in playable form, will not be making it to store shelves this year. SOCOM 4 was to be a major title this holiday, given its Move supported control scheme, but now has an open-ended 2011 release date. On the other hand, Linger in Shadow has already been released in Japan, but will not be coming stateside until January 4, 2011. Here’s hoping they’re both worth the additional wait. |
