Sad news today for Gears of War fans, as the third iteration of the blockbuster Xbox 360 franchise has been delayed to Fall 2011. Although the official reason given for the delay was to make the game the “marquee title” for the 2011 holiday season, the statement released on the official Gears of War Website notes that the game will receive some extra “polish” while we are waiting, prompting some fans to wonder if there were any issues with game’s current status. But no matter what the case is, it seems that you’ll have to wait at least another year to continue the Gears of War story (and finally find out what will happen to Carmine!).  |
