Were you looking forward to PlayStation 3-exclusive adventure The Last Guardian? What about the ICO collection (which included HD remakes of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus)? Well, we’ve got unfortunate news for both these games: they’ve been delayed. The ICO Collection was first up to be released and had a target window of Spring 2011, which it will miss. However, news about The Last Guardian is perhaps even more distressing as it had a launch window of Fall 2011, which it will push tentatively to 2012.  Though we can hazard a pretty good guess about The Last Guardian’s release window, no official information was given about when we could see either of these titles. And to add insult to injury, no specific reason was given for the delays either. All we know is, it’s going to be a long time until we play anything developed by Team ICO, and that all by itself is sad news indeed. |
