Not enough people got to experience Uncharted: Golden Abyss; an amazing entry into the series available exclusively for the PS Vita. When the Uncharted trilogy came out for the PS4, many were left to wonder why the Vita game hadn’t been included alongside the other HD remakes.
Arne Meyer, community strategist at Naughty Dog, suggested that this is because the game doesn’t quite fit in with the narrative of the trilogy. It actually serves as a prequel and features many original characters that wouldn’t show up in the other games. Fortunately, players who never bothered to buy the Vita may still have a chance to experience this otherwise solid title.
Meyer stated that a remake for the PS4 isn’t out of the question. He went on to say that there hasn’t been much talk about it, and it’s not entirely up to Naughty Dog, but there should be no reason why it can’t happen. If you want to see the game released on PS4, it’s probably just a matter of making the demand known. Otherwise, you’ll just have to play it on the Vita.
