Xbox One S 2TB Console Coming August 2?

Xbox One S 2TB Console Coming August 2?

We were all a little confused this year by Microsoft’s E3 strategy. It opened up its conference showing off the sleek Xbox One S, and ended its conference by announcing Project Scorpio as the most powerful console in the world. Who would buy the former if the latter is only a year away? A lot of people, apparently, as pre-orders have reportedly been doing very well. While we have no official from Microsoft, a new leak indicates we may see the console at the very beginning of August.

Earlier this morning Amazon Spain listed the 2 TB model of the Xbox One S with an August 2 release date. This corroborates a new EB Games listing, which also has an August 2 release date. Interestingly, the US Amazon still has its placeholder date of August 31, while the 500 GB and 1 TB models still have their December 31 placeholders. Hopefully we’ll hear from Microsoft soon, but in the meantime you may want to get your pre-order in if you’re planning to pick this up as soon as it’s available.
