Darksiders II was originally slated to come out in June this year. However, June is very quickly coming up and it’s not looking like the game is going to make that deadline after all. Yesterday it was announced that the Darksiders II release would be pushed back from June to August of this year. Vigil quickly answered questions about the reasons for the delay, squashing rumors about the company’s layoffs, the Wii U version, and more. They assured fans that this delay is being made purely for polish and quality assurance reasons. Better to take a bit more time in development than to launch with a glitchy game, after all.
