Blizzard recently added 250,000 more people to the Diablo III beta. Unfortunately, these people won’t have very long to play with the game, as Blizzard has announced today that the servers for the Diablo III beta are being turned off on May 1st. All accounts and character information will be reset, and players who haven’t pre-ordered Diablo III and don’t have some other Blizzard game attached to their Battle.net account will now be unable to create comments and forum posts on the official Diablo III community site. “We’d like to thank everyone who has participated in the Diablo III beta,” said a post on the Diablo III site. “You’ve done an admirable job of testing, and we greatly appreciate all of the feedback you provided during this critical phase of development.”
