Electronic Arts has filed for trademark re-registration of four once-great franchises. Games include Populous, Road Rash, Theme Park, and Wing Commander. Game blog Superannuation picked up the trademark applications and published links to them on the 10 th . However, the filings were actually made back on August 5 th . There is no telling when or if these quality old-school titles from developer Bullfrog will ever hit store shelves, but it is nice to see that something is being done with these IPs other than collecting dust.
