Today, Electronic Arts posted a report of their third quarter fiscal year 2010 results. While the sales numbers were less than stellar – the company saw a big drop in profits compared to the previous year – a couple games were listed that got us excited. In fiscal Q4 2011 (that’s January 1 – March 31, 2011), EA is scheduled to launch yet another Dragon Age title as well as an unannounced shooter from Epic Games – it looks like Epic might just be going multiplatform after all. There was also mention of new Sims and Spore titles (though they are under the “Play” designation) and an unnamed “Action Title” that IGN reports will be a downloadable game, all releasing in the Jan 1 – March 31, 2011 window.
